Single and Double-End Panel Drill Bits
Panel drill bits, whether single or double-ended, are specifically designed for creating holes for rivets in both flat and curved panels and are frequently used in various industries such as sheet metal fabrication, automotive and roofing. The double-ended design not only prolongs the lifespan of the drill bit but in the scenario that one end becomes blunt, users can easily flip it over to use the fresh untouched side, ensuring continuous optimal performance.
Alpha’s single-end panel drills come with two options either a gold coating (titanium nitride coating) or a black coating (black oxide coating). Our double-end panel drills also come in a few different options of coatings or materials including cobalt (HSS cobalt raw material), gold (titanium nitride coating), black (black oxide coating) and silver (M2 HSS raw material).
Our product development team conducted thorough testing on our 3.2mm double-end panel drills. Using 3mm steel, each drill bit managed to drill 20,000 holes.
Alpha has a diverse selection of drill bits which encompass a variety of different types and functionalities including jobber drill bits, reduced shank, hex shank, long drill bits, sets and kits, stub drills, morse taper shank drills, screw extractor bits, spot weld drills and step drills.
