Reduced Shank Drill Bits

Reduced Shank Drill Bits are a type of drill bit designed with a shank that has a smaller diameter than the cutting end. The reduced shank is often tapered to ensure a secure fit within the drill chuck, providing stability and minimising wobbling during drilling. The 51/64” Reduced Shank Drill Bit is designed for more heavy-duty applications perfect for fabrication shops and industrial workplaces. It features a reduced non-slip shank and 3 flights on the shank that prevents slippage in the chuck. The Black Oxide coating maximises lubricant hold and assists in chip flow and heat dissipation.
