Alpha Tools has joined Airspeeder Team Australia as an official engineering partner, taking our cutting and drilling power tool accessories from the jobsite into the exciting and fast-moving world of aerospace.
The Airspeeder International Series is the world’s first racing series for electric flying cars (eVTOLs) and will take flight in Adelaide this November.
We are contributing specialised tooling for working with aerospace composites and 3D-printed metal alloys. These advanced materials demand precision, reliability and tools that are ready to perform; that’s exactly where Alpha comes in.
While the application is new, the challenge is familiar: delivering reliable performance in demanding environments where precision matters.

Built to perform where precision matters
We have built our reputation on delivering quality, performance and reliability for professionals who need tools they can trust.
That same commitment to precision and practical innovation is now supporting one of Australia’s most advanced engineering projects.
At Alpha Tools, we’re driven by a commitment to performance, innovation and helping professionals achieve better outcomes.
Our mission has always been to create cutting and drilling tools that outperform, while continuing to raise the standard of tooling excellence.
Partnering with Airspeeder Team Australia is a natural extension of that mission. It’s about more than having our name associated with an exciting new category. It’s about working alongside a team that shares our focus on performance, innovation and continually pushing what’s possible.
Their work sits at the edge of innovation and advanced air mobility, giving Alpha the opportunity to demonstrate what our tooling can achieve in one of the world’s most exciting new arenas.
Australian engineering, taking flight
The Airspeeder Mk3C is Airspeeder’s electric flying race platform, developed in South Australia by Airspeeder Team Australia’s engineers, designers and researchers.
The team behind its aerodynamics, battery systems, propulsion and AI-enabled flight controls is now preparing for the International Series, where national teams will compete at the leading edge of advanced air mobility and physical AI.
Team Australia made its competitive debut at The Bend Motorsport Park in April 2026, piloting the Mk3C platform in Airspeeder’s first demonstration within established motorsport infrastructure.

Matt Pearson, Founder and CEO of Airspeeder, said Team Australia was created to give Australia’s leading engineers and companies one team to support.
“Alpha Tools joining us is exactly what that looks like in practice: Australian capability, applied at the hardest edge of flight.”
